Newbies are require to get Sweat top and Sweat Pants ("Sport Package"). Boys also need to buy black Nike 2-inch split shorts (either on-line or through another store.) Girls need black Spandex (unfortunately the spandex are not in the on-line store.) Here is a link to the girls spandex...The Nike Pro 3 (these shorts can be purchased at other Sports outlets)
If you order by August 7th (Store #1), we should get the order in time before the first meet.

First Day of Summer Workout is Monday (July 13th).
July 13th - Sept 4th : Mon-Fri. @ Malaga Cove @ 6:30am
Freshmen may run with returners in the morning.
Varsity...expect Saturday runs and 2 runs a day as well.
July 13th - July 30th : Mon - Thurs @ South High @ 1:30pm Revised Time @ 1:45pm. We're revising the time to give Summer School Athletes more time to get to South from Torrance or West High. On all other flyers, it still may say 1:30pm
Returners/Summer School athletes may run in the afternoon as oppose to the morning runs.
August 3 - Sept. 4th : Mon - Thurs @ Malaga Cove @ 6:30am
Freshmen will join the returners in the morning for the rest of the summer.
Summer Cross Country technically ends August 21st. August 24th is the start of the 'Fall Season'. Our Cross Country workouts will not change as we will continue training into the end of the summer.

Parents & Athletes : (Getting your own ride to meets)
Coach Tokuda needs a parent permission slip (in advance) if you are not taking the bus to/from a meet.
If an athlete is driving himself/herself to the meet, a note is still required (regardless of the age of the student.)
Students may not drive another student to the meet. This is TUSD school policy. Any violation of this rule and the driver and the other runner may be dropped from cross country.
At the meet, the driver will be asked to sign out on a yellow pad.
