Summer Practice starts Monday, July 14th
Returners Practice @ 6:30am @ Malaga Cove
Freshmen & Summer School Athletes Practice @ 1:30pm @ South
Starting Monday, August 4th - only 1 practice time @ 6:30am @ Malaga Cove
Parent Dropoff...be aware of traffic police on PV Blvd. Also, as you pull into the Plaza, please pull up as far as possible before dropping your son/daughter off. There may be a line of cars, so we need to make room for other cars.
August 14th (Thursday) - Village Runner Shoe Night...more information to come
Pre-Season Banquet - Date to be determined.
Every athlete needs to fill out the Athletic Clearance Packet and turn into F-1 starting August 15th.
Fall Athletics starts August 18th...athletes need to be cleared with this Athletic Clearance Packet (this is different from the Summer Sign-up).
After going to F-1, you will be given a stamped emergency card. This emergency card needs to be returned to Coach Shapiro or Coach Tokuda. If not cleared by August 25th, then you cannot practice with the team.
If not cleared by Sept 5th, then you will be removed from Cross Country.

Parents & Athletes : (Getting your own ride to meets)
Coach Tokuda needs a parent permission slip (in advance) if you are not taking the bus to/from a meet.
If an athlete is driving himself/herself to the meet, a note is still required (regardless of the age of the student.)
Students may not drive another student to the meet. This is TUSD school policy. Any violation of this rule and the driver and the other runner will be dropped from cross country.
At the meet, the driver will be asked to sign out on a yellow pad.
